​Congratulations to Year 11 students Nancy, Olive, Sophia and Malavika who have all been selected to participate in the 2025 SPARQ-ed Senior Research Immersion Program at Translational Research Institute (TRI) in June!



“I’m super excited to be part of this program and I wanted to join it because science, and especially biomedicine and genetics, are my passions. I hope to meet new people and learn new skills that I can apply in my future and studies!” - Nancy, Year 11
 


I wanted to join the SPARQ-ed program as I have a passion for biology and scientific research, and I am hoping to cultivate my love of research in a bio-medical context.” - Olive, Year 11
 


I want to gain early experience working with a professional research team which will develop my communication, confidence, and curiosity. By engaging with SPARQ-ed, I aim to learn more about the future opportunities within the biomedical field and apply it through my aspiration of biomedical research in diseases, treatments and prevention to one day contribute to the medical industry.” - Sophia, Year 11
 


“I wanted to take part in the SPARQ-ed program as it provides the opportunity to work alongside biomedical scientists working on real research projects. I am hoping from this experience to learn new skills in scientific research that I would be able to bring with me into the future.” - Malavika, Year 11
