Join us for the highly anticipated Year 12 International Baccalaureate Contemporary Visual Arts Exhibition Opening Night at QACI, where the talents of our graduating Visual Arts students take centre stage. This dynamic showcase presents the culmination of two years of rigorous research, conceptual development, and studio practice, as students emerge as thoughtful and provocative young artists. Their work spans a range of contemporary themes and media, exploring the complexity of social, historical, cultural, and environmental issues through a deeply personal lens.
This inspiring evening will feature a special opening address by renowned artist Vernon Ah Kee, whose own practice challenges and redefines narratives around race, identity, and Australian history. His presence will set the tone for a night that celebrates the power of artistic inquiry and expression.
At QACI, our commitment to fostering curious, creative, and globally-minded thinkers through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is reflected in the bold and insightful voices of these graduating artists.
We invite you to experience this celebration of emerging talent and the innovative spirit that defines our learning community.
We would like to thank the QACI P&C for providing refreshments during the exIBit Opening Night.
