Class of 2009

Marketing - Director of Creative Partnerships Nike EMEA
Amsterdam, Netherlands

"QACI encouraged curiosity, independent thinking and the confidence to approach challenges from different perspectives. Those skills have been invaluable throughout my career." - Josi'ah Mace, 2026

From Brisbane to London, Amsterdam and some of the world's most recognised brands, QACI alumnus Josi'Ah Mace (Class of 2009) has built an international career connecting brands, creators and culture.

Today, Josi'Ah serves as Director of Creative Partnerships for Nike EMEA, leading strategic collaborations that position one of the world's most influential brands at the heart of contemporary culture. Based in Amsterdam, he oversees creative partnership initiatives across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, working with creators, storytellers and cultural innovators to deliver meaningful brand experiences.

His journey began much closer to home.

After graduating from Queensland Academies Creative Industries, Josi'Ah developed his expertise across digital marketing, content strategy and audience engagement, holding roles with Search Factory Australia, the Brisbane Lions and RACQ before relocating to the United Kingdom to join global media agency Initiative.

Over the past decade, he has become a recognised leader in creative and creator partnerships, developing award-winning campaigns and cultural collaborations for brands including Nike, Lego, Amazon, Destination Canada and Deliveroo. His work spans strategy, content development, creator ecosystems, media partnerships and large-scale cultural activations that help brands authentically engage with audiences.

Reflecting on his career, Josi'Ah believes the foundations established at QACI continue to influence how he approaches creativity and problem-solving today.

"QACI encouraged curiosity, independent thinking and the confidence to approach challenges from different perspectives. Those skills have been invaluable throughout my career."

His progression through Initiative, from Content Partnerships Manager to Director of Initiative Create and now Director of Creative Partnerships for Nike EMEA demonstrates both his strategic vision and his ability to navigate an industry that is constantly evolving.

In 2023, Josi'Ah was recognised among the UK's leading emerging media professionals when he was named to Campaign Magazine's prestigious Media 30 Under 30 list, acknowledging his impact on the future of creative and partnership-led marketing.

For current QACI students, his story highlights the diverse opportunities that emerge when creativity, communication and critical thinking are combined with a willingness to embrace new experiences.

Whether leading international campaigns, building creator communities or shaping how global brands connect with culture, Josi'Ah's career reflects the spirit of innovation and global citizenship that sits at the heart of the QACI experience.

As QACI continues to nurture internationally minded, creative thinkers, alumni like Josi'Ah demonstrate the extraordinary pathways that can begin in the classroom before reaching audiences around the world.
