"My teachers at QACI are what have inspired me to study education - to be even half of what the QACI staff were in terms of support and passion for the subjects they teach is what I aspire to be. My maths teacher in particular was my inspiration for studying maths to hopefully become a maths teacher."

Ruben is heading to The University of Queensland to study a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honours)

"To enter the law has always been my ultimate aim throughout high school, as it's a career that allows me to be on the frontline of reforming institutions, speaking for the voiceless, and fighting for a more egalitarian society; these are all things I believe in strongly. If you know anything about me (or as you may gather) you'll know I'm also fairly into politics, and an extended major in Political Science within the BA is my outlet to explore this more explicitly."

"I definitely want to pursue something that can channel creativity and connect to people through ideas that challenge them.
