Natasha Baynham graduated from Queensland Academies Creative Industries (QACI) in 2016 after completing her International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and developing a signature creative identity in Theatre and Film.
Natasha was awarded an Academic Vice-Chancellor Scholarship for Queensland University of Technology (QUT) where she now studies a dual degree of Creative Industries (Major: Film) and Business (Major: Advertising). Natasha undertook two film and advertising internships at Strictly Marketing and Talent Blueprint Recruitment. After the completion of the internships, she was offered positions at both of the businesses.
Natasha has been provided with the opportunity to build a client list, having created promotional and informational video material for: Meccah bah, Cafe Emporium, 400 George Street, Max & Mason, Belle Epoque, Saiko Sushi, Rays Patisserie, Nails on Robinson, Rozas Gourmet Sauces and Astute Early Learning Specialists.
Whilst providing consultancy film work, Natasha has started interning at the Australian Acting Academy with the aim of training to become an assistant teacher at the academy. Natasha says that all of her opportunities would never have been possible without the hands on technical skills that she learnt from QACI. Not only did QACI provide amazing experiences and learning opportunities, but also instilled a sense of passion, drive and problem solving abilities. Natasha wants any potential student to understand that their creative skills are valuable, and within the workforce, experience is every interviewer’s top priority. QACI provides a platform for young creatives to build connections, grow their skills and obtain real world experience that can set you apart from other school graduates.
