​Academic Integrity Policy

QACI supports and promotes the principles of properly conducted academic research and respect for integrity in all forms of assessment.


​Assessment Policy

The QACI Assessment Policy aligns with specific assessment criteria as stated in the International Baccalaureate Organisation Handbook of Procedures for the Diploma Programme.


​Bring Your Own Device

Technology is an integral part of teaching and learning at QACI to differentiate and personalise our students' education.


​CCTV School Recordings

Closed circuit television (CCTV) has been installed at QACI for the purpose of deterring and recording unauthorised and/or illegal activity on school grounds, including vandalism, unlawful entry and graffiti.


​Child and Student Protection Policy​​

This policy outlines the Department of Education's (the department) approach to keeping children and students safe by protecting them from harm or risk of harm in Queensland state schools and State Delivered Kindergartens.​

​​Customer Complaint Procedure

Queensland Academies Creative Industries (QACI) is committed to fostering a school environment that is supportive, respectful, compatible with human rights and provides all students with opportunities to engage in quality learning. Effective partnerships with parents, carers, students, school staff and International Baccalaureate Organisation (IB) are essential to achieving this goal.​


​​External Request for Equipment

An External Request for Equipment (EQ11) form is to be completed when loaning Department of Education, Training and the Arts equipment to employees, students or community organisations for use after hours, during school holidays on, or away, from official premises.


​Inclusion Policy

Students enrolled in Queensland State Schools come from a diverse social, cultural, geographic and family backgrounds, are of many identities, and of all abilities.


​International Baccalaureate Handbook

The IB Diploma Programme is a comprehensive pre-university two-year curriculum course of study designed for students in the 16 to 19 age range.


International Baccalaureate Examinations Student Handbook

Student conduct and behaviour must align to the IB Conduct of the examinations: Notice to candidates (see page 4 and 5) fo the QACI International Baccalaureate Examinations Student Handbook.



​Language Learning Policy

The QACI Language Poliy is designed to be consistent with the stipulated practices and principles of the IB and aligned to the Department of Education philosphy and language trends.


​Pamoja Online Policy

QACI affirms a commitment to all students to offer a range of subjects from Groups 1 - 6 dependent on staffing and resources.


​​​Parent Code of Conduct

We welcome parents and other members of our diverse community into schools across Queensland​​.​


Religious Instruction at QACI

Religious instruction is not provided at QACI. This decision has been based upon feasibility based on demand and availability of faith groups to provide instruction at a time appropriate with the student's schedule.

School Support Self Taught Language Procedure

Non-native English speaking students at QACI have the opportunity to study their mother tongue in the Diploma Programme as one of their six subjects.

QACI is commited to providing a safe, respectful and disciplined learning environment for all students, staff, parents and visitors.


​Subject Change Form

To apply for a change of subject or levels (HL/SL), students should first speak with their subject teacher, HOD, GO and parents. ​


​Transport Assistance Scheme

The Department of Transport and Main Roads provides assistance under the School Transport Assistance Scheme (STAS) in situations where access to education is impeded by distance, income or isolation.
