Student governance
QACI's Student Leadership Structure forms an integral part of the school. The overall leadership structure of QACI works in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team, promoting QACI culture and enhancing the journey of every member of the community.

Houses
The 3 houses represent a cultural or language group, thus reflecting our global perspective.
Éveiller (French), means Awaken (Colour Green)
Matjiin, (Australian Aboriginal) means Create (Colour Red)
Vivezza (Italian) means Liveliness (Colour Yellow)
There is always friendly and sometimes fierce rivalry among the houses and the colours are worn with pride.
This year we will have 5 Major House Events:
Term 1: Aquafest & Connect Board, House Identity Board
Term 2: Runfest + Funfest
Term 3: Talentfest
The points awarded from each of these events will determine which House will win the coveted House trophy - The Golden Goose Yulgoo - meaning Heart in the Gungarri Language, a South-West Queensland Indigenous language.
