Year 10 Setplan Conferences
We look forward to meeting with Year 10s and their families in the upcoming Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan conferences.
Participation in these conferences is compulsory in Queensland for each Year 10 student and their parent/carer.

Setplan occurs on Friday 6 June 8.30am to 2.30pm, with each student allocated 15 minutes. Students and parents/carers will meet with either the student’s IBL teacher, the Year 10 Deputy Principal Lauren Smith, the Year 10 YLC Aarya Gautam or the Year 10 Guidance Officer Kym Barrett who will guide the process alongside each student.
Parents have the option to attend in person or join the meeting online using the Microsoft Teams application. You will need to download the app to your device before your scheduled appointment.
From Wednesday 21 May at 10am you will be able to book a conference (one per student) for a time that suits you. Bookings are essential and bookings close Wednesday 4 June, 9:00am.
How to Book your interviews
Bookings can be made online using the Booked system. Individual teacher conference time slots are limited to 15 minutes per student. The earlier you can book, the more options you will have.
- Please access the PTOnline booking system as follows:
- Click HERE to go to the PTO booking system.
- Bookings are unable to be made before the scheduled opening time.
- On the login page, click “Obtain PIN/Password” and enter your email address. (This must be the email address previously supplied to QACI).
- Your PIN will be emailed to you. The email you receive will include a link that will log you into PTO.
- After login and when prompted please select either:
- In Person - attend at QACI for a face-to-face conference or,
- Online - Teams Meeting for an online Teams conference
- Parents / Carers can book a 15-minute conference time with each teacher using the PTOnline booking system.
IMPORTANT: If there are multiple parents/carers attending a Teams conference in separate locations, please contact Trudie Bailey via admin@qaci.eq.edu.au before the meeting so that links can be forwarded to the parent/carer who did not make the initial booking.
Conference Process On the Day
Meeting via Teams:
- Please ensure the Teams app has been downloaded on your device.
- Log into Booked 5 minutes before the scheduled meeting time, click the link in your conference schedule to join the Teams lobby / waiting room.
- Your student’s teacher will then ‘let you in’ at the correct time. This link will not be available to see or access until 15 minutes before your scheduled conference.
Meeting in Person:
- Please sign in on Level 2, 5 minutes prior to your scheduled conference time.
Please remain on Level 2 where a member of staff will welcome you and your student for your scheduled conference.
Term 2 Student Led Conferences
Thursday 26 June, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Student Led Conferences have been scheduled for all students on Thursday 26 June, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Student Led conferences are an opportunity for parents, teachers, and students to come together to discuss the student’s ongoing academic progress, effort, and behaviour. It is also an opportunity to share any individual circumstances that may better inform the teachers in differentiating student learning.
Face to face conferences will be held at QACI, or alternatively parents/carers may choose to engage in an online conference using the Microsoft Teams application.
Students who attend school on this day will take part in an alternative academic program to allow student and staff flexibility to accommodate the conferences.
Please note that several teachers will be on leave during Week 10, and there may also be additional absences on the day. If a teacher is unavailable or on leave, you are welcome to contact them in Term 3 for feedback. Absent teachers will also be encouraged to follow up with families in Term 3.
How to book your interviews:
Bookings can be made online using the BOOKED (formerly PTOnline) online booking system from 6.00pm, Friday 6 June. Bookings will close at 9.00am, Monday 23 June. Individual teacher conference time slots are limited to 10 minutes per student. The earlier you can book, the more options you will have.
Please access the BOOKED online booking system as follows:
- Click HERE for the Booked online booking system.
- Bookings are unable to be made before the scheduled opening time of Friday 6 June, 6pm.
- On the login page click “Obtain PIN” and enter your email address. Must be an email previously supplied to QACI.
- Your PIN will be emailed to you. The email you receive will include a link that will allow direct login for bookings.
- After login and when prompted please select either:
- “In Person – attend at QACI” - for a face-to-face conference OR
- “Online - Teams Meeting” - for a Teams conference.
- Parents/carers can book a 10-minute conference time with each teacher using the BOOKED online booking system.
IMPORTANT: If there are multiple parents/carers who would like to attend a Teams conference from separate locations, please contact Trudie Bailey on tbail121@eq.edu.au BEFORE Monday 23 June, 3pm so that the meeting links can be forwarded to the parent/carer who did not make the initial booking.
On the day:
- For face-to-face conferences, students and parents will meet with the teacher at the scheduled time onsite. Your confirmed bookings on Booked will include room numbers for your teacher.
- For online conferences parents/carers will need to login to the Booked online booking system and then click on the link provided beside the teacher’s name. Please note that the link will not be available until 15 minutes prior to the scheduled conference time. Please ensure your student has a copy of the conference schedule.
- Teachers will let parents into the Teams meeting at the booked time of each conference.
- Please remember that links to conferences are via the BOOKED online booking system (not your email confirmation). Parents/carers will need to login again on the day to access online conferences.
