Welcome to Launch 2025 – the Queensland Academies Creative Industries Dance production for 2025, featuring performance and composition from students in Years 10, 11 and 12.
Launch 2025 comprises a musical theatre piece and two contemporary works created by QACI students in collaboration with QACI’s Dance Teacher, Liz Collyer.
Throughout this term, the students worked with Mrs Collyer to explore and create movement. They took ownership to establish their own working processes and styles within movement. The outcome is dance works with similar themes and originating ideas, but choreography that incorporates each student’s individual interpretations in their compositions.
