In Term 3, QACI hosted an annual International Breakfast, bringing together current and past international students in a celebration of QACI culture, community, and connection. This year, we welcomed back several alumni, including Nana (2021), currently studying Doctor of Medicine at UQ, Ben(2024), currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedicine at UQ, Jinru (2024) currently studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy at Monash University, and our International Baccalaureate Diploma Dux, Rudro (2024) currently studying Finance at UQ.
Each Alumni guest student shared their journeys beyond QACI and how the IB and QACI had better prepared them for university life, showcasing how creativity is woven across curricula domains that embed critical thinking and explore global perspectives. For our current international students, this was an amazing experience as it is a moment to be seen and celebrated within the QACI community.
The International Breakfast reflected QACI’s uniqueness of inclusion, diversity, and the strength of a global-minded IB education. Bringing together past and present international students reminded us that QACI is not just a school, but a community that continues to empower its students well beyond graduation.
