​​The Department of Education procedure contains a good summary of the legislative framework under which Queensland P&Cs operate.

The objectives of the P&C association are to promote the interests, and facilitate the development and further improvement of the Queensland Academies Creative Industries Campus (QACI).

General meetings of the association are held on the third Wednesday of each calendar month.

In pursuit of the association’s objectives, the functions of the association are to:

  • foster special interest in the general community and the business community in educational matters connected to the QACI campus and the students
  • foster general community interest in educational matters
  • endeavour to bring about closer co-operation between the parents of students attending QACI, other members of the community and the staff and students of the campus
  • provide or assist in the provision of financial or other resources or services for the benefit of students of the campus.

Please confirm meeting dates by checking our events calendar located on the home page of this website. Any amendments are usually communicated via the school newsletter.

The QACI P&C meetings for 2025 are scheduled for the following dates and times and take place on Level 7. Entry is via the Southern Lifts in the QACI Carpark.

Libby Ferrari
President - QACI P&C

In the role of President, Libby aims to:

  • Foster strong collaboration between parents, students, and staff to support an inclusive and engaged school community. 
  • Champion positive change by ensuring the parent voice is heard and represented in key school decisions.
  • Lead with compassion, vision, and diplomacy to create meaningful connections and support QACI’s unique culture and future growth.


Coreta Lennon 
Vice President - QACI P&C

In the role of Vice President, Coreta aims to:

  • Advocate for student wellbeing by promoting a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
  • Support and celebrate the arts as a vital part of QACI’s culture, encouraging creativity, confidence, and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with the school community to drive initiatives that empower students and strengthen their sense of belonging and purpose.


Laura Obbard 
Vice President (Events) - QACI P&C

In the role of Vice President (Events), Laura aims to:

  • Support and strengthen QACI’s unique creative arts culture to ensure every student can thrive in an inspiring and inclusive environment.
  • Build strong connections within the school community by bringing energy, openness, and a passion for collaboration.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and innovation to help QACI be the best it can be for all students.


Iwa Brown 
Vice President (Events) - QACI P&C

In the role of Vice President (Events), Iwa aims to:

  • Support and celebrate QACI’s inclusive, inspiring culture by advocating for the needs and wellbeing of its exceptional students.
  • Contribute energy, organisation, and a deep commitment to help the P&C make a meaningful impact within the school community.
  • Collaborate with the Executive team to drive initiatives that enhance the QACI experience now and into the future.


Belinda Tolman 
Vice President (Fundraising) - QACI P&C

In the role of Vice President (Fundraising), Belinda aims to:

  • Support QACI’s commitment to the IB program by helping create opportunities that prepare students for global university pathways, especially in Europe.
  • Foster a nurturing and creative school community where students and families feel connected and supported throughout their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with like-minded parents to enhance the QACI experience, ensuring every child has the best possible environment to thrive.


Sophie Araud-Sheldon
Treasurer - QACI P&C

In the role of Treasurer, Belinda aims to

  • Support QACI’s IB program and its international opportunities to help students thrive in a global context.
  • Promote and strengthen the school’s welcoming and supportive culture that sets QACI apart.
  • Contribute thoughtful, principled leadership to the P&C Executive team to uphold and advance the school’s ethos.


Sandra Cruz 
Secretary - QACI P&C

In the role of Secretary, Sandra aims to:

  • Support and promote the IB program’s diverse learning opportunities to help students build confidence, skills, and global awareness.
  • Foster strong collaboration within the P&C and wider school community to achieve meaningful goals together.
  • Provide organised, focused leadership to keep the P&C team effective and connected in supporting QACI’s mission.
