What lies beneath the surface…

Underwater WorldYear 10 ESS students recently headed north to Mooloolaba to visit Underwater World as part of their Marine Ecosystem Investigations Unit. Studying the interrelationship  between marine organisms, students explored the wide range of adaptations organisms have developed to suit their habitat. The ESS course aims to foster an international perspective, awareness of local and global environmental concerns and an understanding of the scientific methods. Another important component is hands-on work in the laboratory and/or out in the field and our Year 10s certainly enjoyed getting their hands wet to discover what lies beneath the surface at Underwater World!
