If a student has gained a 6 or 7 in a subject we advertise their availability if they seek to be a tutor. A general mentor is a role in which a student is assisted with general planning, time management etc.
Any financial arrangement is made directly between the parent of the QACI student and the graduate. Tutoring may occur at QACI if this is mutually convenient and between 7am and 5pm on a weekday. The QUT library and State Library are venues also used.
If a past graduate is going to access QACI as a tutorial site we must register them through Client Services and they must sign in as a visitor on each occasion as for any other visiting member of the public.
Most importantly if tutoring for payment at QACI they will be required to have a blue card.
For more information or for the list of tutors available please contact Natalie Wendt at Client Services on 3552 9333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
