We’re already half way through the term, but before our next holiday there are assignments, exams, experiments, performances and more to be done.
We know from discussions with many of our students, our guidance officers, teachers, and some parents, that there are a few things holding some of us back from performing at our peak. Feeling anxious, tired or overwhelmed, not being able to relax and be calm, having difficulty staying focused or finding energy, and doubting ourselves can inhibit our sense of resilience and well-being.
We want to see students at their best and so we have designed a program especially for our QACI students, to support this outcome.
RECHARGE is a 4 hour long afternoon program designed to restore and refresh students before end of term assessment and to gain skills to carry through the exam period and beyond. Through physical techniques (including yoga and other exercises), breathing and mindfulness techniques, and some fun (yes, really!) creative activities as well, students will learn how to be calm, focused and confident, through various techniques delivered by psychologists, experienced teachers and counselors, nutrition and exercise professionals.
