Year 10 Film Studies is a course that aims to prepare the student for the artistic and analytical requirements of the IB proper. It allows students to explore the different components of the storytelling process in terms of film language, technology, art and reflection. Students are encouraged to develop their creative and critical abilities and to enhance their appreciation and enjoyment of film. They are encouraged to engage in creative processes that are at once challenging and new to their traditional ways of thinking.
Documentary filmmakers make films about subjects that concern them, which could be a variety of personal, political or experimental stories. Documentary filmmakers work with images, sound, editing and script.
This showcase is a screening of selected works from the Year 10 Documentary Unit of 2015.
Tickets to this screening are complimentary, however booked within a limited context of availability. To secure your tickets please book here.
