IB Diploma Program University Recognition

The IB Diploma Program enjoys a high level of respect and recognition among the world’s higher education institutions. For QACI graduates this means their success in the IB often results in advanced standing, course credit, scholarships, and other admissions related benefits at many universities both at home and abroad.

Our partner university, QUT, offers students the opportunity to apply for academic credit towards a range of its undergraduate science and engineering degree programs. Depending on the structure of their QUT program students may receive credit up to the equivalent of a full-time semester of university study (4 units) towards their degree.

The IB works with the higher education community to ensure IB students get the recognition they have earned, as well as to examine and further develop its programs to ensure they continue to offer the best preparation for university studies and life beyond.

For QACI IB candidates this is valuable reassurance that their efforts to develop as IB Learners will be recognised and rewarded and encourages students to be the best they can be.

Once again, in 2016 our graduates have been highly successful and achieved great destination outcomes.  They have continued to expand their future pathways by accepting varied and diverse professional studies.  The perception may be that our graduates continue into Creative Industries tertiary courses but in reality a larger percentage of students continue their studies in a field outside this field.   Such wide and varied opportunities are available to our graduates because of their self-development within the framework of a world class curriculum that motivates Critical Thinking, Creative Strategies and Global Perspectives.

As Principal, I am excited to share with you the following Queensland destination data for our 2016 cohort:
