Queensland Academies Creative Industries Campus invites you to its annual celebration of academic achievement and creative innovation: ASPIRE 2016.
Capturing the essence of our clever, creative and global learning community the evening will inspire you with our mission to be the world class learning environment of choice for the aspirational, creative generation.
Hosted for the first time at Sleeman Sports Complex Chandler (Corner of Old Cleveland Road and Tilley Roads), ASPIRE is an event for our whole school community and includes those from the wider fields of education, creative industries and business committed to the future of QACI’s vision.
ASPIRE 2016 will be celebrated on Thursday 20 October and is the perfect backdrop to showcase innovation, imagination and internationalism. In light of traffic conditions on Old Cleveland Road, guests are encouraged to plan their arrival for 6.00pm in readiness for the start of the awards ceremony at 7.00pm. Refreshments will be available for purchase from 5.30pm and pre-event entertainment will commence at 6.00pm. The venue capacity is generous so please feel free to include additional guests when you RSVP.
ASPIRE 2016 is a formal school event and students are required to wear full formal uniform. Girls are requested to wear black sheer stockings in preference to white ankle socks. Please refer to the Student Handbook for Formal Uniform requisites.
All students involved in ASPIRE 2016 are required to attend a rehearsal session as part of the event preparations on Thursday 20 October during the day. Details surrounding this can be found via the attached ASPIRE REHEARSAL Letter.
We look forward to welcoming you to ASPIRE 2016.
