Earlier this term, music students had the privilege to collaborate and learn from several musicians from across the world! Exploring many unrecognisable techniques, we were made to step out of our comfort zone and investigated the extraordinarily vast world that is music.
The camp was concluded with feelings of inspiration by what can be created with no limitations. Under the instruction of percussionist Greg Sheehan, prepared piano player Erik Griswol, Takako playing the koto, Dan Quigley from Jazz Music Institution and the Nonsemble, just to name a few, the two-day experience was one not to miss out on!
As music students we are all looking forward to further exploring and developing the skills we picked up on at Composition Camp and we are certainly looking forward to attending again next year.
