Queensland Academies Creative Industries would like to congratulate James Cartwright in Year 11 for his mindful moments to maintain positivity, health and wellbeing during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Just over a month ago, James spotted an online casting call from i-D Magazine, a British publication dedicated to fashion, music, art and youth culture calling for 16 year olds from around the world to take part in a production about life before and during isolation.

As one of the 16 teenagers selected globally from approximately 500 entrants, James was required to submit some photographs, and thanks to his mother for her fabulous film footage some film clips of what life is like in isolation for a 16 year old teenager.

It is a beautiful sight to see as we witness James connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors, making his time in isolation an enriching experience both for himself and his mother.
