QACI would
like to invite you to Momentum, a dance showcase featuring performance
and composition works by the Year 10 and 11 QACI Dance Collective.
The Year 10 Dance Collective will present us with an array of
thought provoking contemporary dance compositions developed from the
theme of identity and performance and arrangement by QACI Dance teacher,
Kate Stephenson.
The Year 11 Dance Collective will present an arrangement of
composition solos and postmodern ensemble pieces that seek to break the
boundaries of conventional dance.
When studying dance, students explore various methods of composing
movement to shape their individual movement style and identity as a
young artist.
Please join us as we celebrate the artistic development of these
students and recognise the importance of movement as a tool for
expression and storytelling.
