QACI would like to congratulation 2019 QACI Alumni Brodie Lello on her recent song release Magic Show which is available for streaming via Spotify and Apple Music.
Often when I write the music, it’s because I’m feeling passionate about something and want to talk about it. While I do like to leave music up to interpretation of the listener, Magic Show is about Australian politics. I’ll let the lyrics do the talking as to what I mean by that, but in simple terms it often seems like one big display, sometimes chaotic in nature. However, at the same time I also just love creating the music itself. So let the music be whatever you want it to be when you hear it, and don’t forget to look for my pet Blue Tongue lizard in the artwork. He kept me persisting no matter how many learning curves I had to overcome when recording this. Happy listening!
