QACI would like to congratulate to Elizabeth (Liz) who attained an International Baccalaureate score of 45 (ATAR equivalent 99.95). A maximum score of 45 can be achieved in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Students study six subjects with a maximum score of 7. They must also complete all three components of the inner core - Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), Extended Essay (EE) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) with 3 bonus points attributed via an intersecting grade matrix for TOK and EE*.
Liz is confirmed to study medicine at the University of Newcastle. She is looking forward to also exploring her interests in health and science at a tertiary level with the ultimate goal to become a Plastic Surgeon. In 2021, Elizabeth achieved subject firsts in Business Management HL, French SL and Spanish HL, and also received the Spirit of QACI, International Mindedness, Academic Excellence, and ADF Leadership and Teamwork awards. Elizabeth cites her proudest achievement at QACI as becoming Student Director for Passion in 2021, following her leadership roles at House Manager Vivezza in 2020 and Student Media Team Member from 2019 - 2021.
