Congratulations to all of our 2021 International Baccalaureate Graduates at QACI. Amazing results! Amazing students!
As we celebrate some of QACI's student success stories, we would like to congratulate Lillian who attained an International Baccalaureate score of 44 (ATAR equivalent 99.75).
Lillian plans to study a dual degree in psychology and philosophy abroad, and has applied to universities in the United Kingdom such as the University of Edinburgh, St. Andrews and Bath Spa, and McGill University in Canada.
While at QACI, Lillian consistently achieved Academic Excellence throughout Year 10, 11 and 12. When reflecting on her QACI journey, Lillian cites that she was grateful for the QACI culture that encouraged students to help each other to achieve the IB Diploma. “Helping others to get closer to achieving their diploma or succeed in a certain class was something I so greatly appreciated during my time at QACI.”
A maximum score of 45 can be achieved in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Students study six subjects with a maximum score of 7. They must also complete all three components of the inner core - Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), Extended Essay (EE) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) with 3 bonus points attributed via an intersecting grade matrix for TOK and EE*.
