Valentine's day at QACI is a one of the most joyful days of the school calendar. 14 February, every year, QACI students are encouraged to express their gratitude and appreciation for the whole school community through what we call 'warm and fuzzies' - small notes that pinpoint something you appreciate about the person you are giving it to. In addition to the warm and fuzzies our extraordinary Year 12 Student Directors cover the walls of QACI in valentines inspired decoration, the marvellous Liz and Tara bake special cupcakes and this year we were treated to some very exciting new additions to our Valentine's day activities. QACI students had the option to purchase roses, book personal serenade sessions from the amazing serenade team, face painting and so much more!
The roses where a huge success! As a school we were able to raise more than $50 for the charity 'The Cancer Council'. Our $50 can help fund support systems for anyone effected by cancer. Thank you everyone for getting involved in this new project as it can now help someone else in need.
