Australian Girls Choir Leadership Positions

​Queensland Academies Creative Industries (QACI) would like to congratulation current Year 10 and Year 11 students Torvey, Anna and Jordan on their recent leadership positions within the Australian Girls Choir for 2022.

Torvey, Year 10 QACI Student will take on the leadership position as Community Leader g-oz. Two g-oz Community Leaders are appointed by their Performing Choir peers and they will be responsible for the development of  creative awareness and fundraising ideas to contribute to and raise funds for the charity partner choir - Girls from Oz.​

Anna, Year 11 QACI Student will take on the leadership position as Dance Leader. A Dance Leader is selected each year to assist both the Performing Choir and Ballare with their choreographed items. The Dance Leader is responsible for understanding each choreographed item and assisting the State Choreographer during rehearsals and performances. 

Jordan - Year 11 QACI Student has been awarded the June Bronhill Scholarship. The prestigious June Bronhill scholarship is awarded to the chorister capabale of pursuing a career in the performing arts and provides leadership and is a vocal role model for all the choristers. 

QACI would like to congratulate and wish our students and all choristers in the Australian Girls Choir all the best for a successful 2022 year.
