A Midsummer Night's Dream is a tale of passion, revelry and magic.
On a midsummer night, four young lovers find themselves enveloped in a dream-like trance in an ethereal world where sprites lurk, and fairies create havoc. While a feuding Fairy King and Queen are at war, a group of mismatched thespians rehearse a play for a Royal wedding. Chief mischief-maker, Puck, ensures that the course of true love is anything but smooth as games of love, fantasy and dreams ensue in Shakespeare's most enchanting comedy.
The Year 12 Theatre Ensemble are delighted to bring their reimagining of this classic play to the QACI community. Inspired by electronic rave culture and contemporary fashion, this visually impressive production design will surprise and delight audiences with its theatrical marvel and trickery.
Prior to the theatre performance QACI musicians will set the scene with an acoustic set from 5.30pm in the foyer where family and friends can also enjoy pre-ordered freshly made Blue Goose Platters.
Pre-order these platters via QKR! before Tuesday 14 June, 9am.
We are delighted to welcome the QACI P&C who will be available at all three performances providing refreshments to accompany your pre-show food and entertainment.

This production is suitable for general audiences.
