Eugene Lonesco, one of the most prolific playwrights of the Absurdist movement described the form as “that which is devoid of purpose…cut off from his religious, metaphysical and transcendental roots, man is lost in the world, all his actions become senseless, absurd, useless.”
This term, Theatre students have explored complex existential questions as they have delved into the world of Absurd Theatre. These collaboratively-devised performances, written and created by the Year 11 Theatre students will delight and entice.
