At QACI’s ASPIRE celebrations during Term 4, it was a pleasure for our community to congratulate Lachlan Snow as the recipient of the 2021 Alumnus of the Year Award. This annual award recognises an alum whose efforts and achievements in their chosen field align with QACI’s culture, to:
Accept Challenge
Embrace Opportunity
Fly in -V- Formation
In the years since graduation with QACI’s Foundation cohort in 2008, Lachlan has acquired a diverse skillset through his experience across a range of interests and endeavours. At each stage, Lachlan has continued his passion for lifelong learning with an appreciation that the more one learns, the more there is to learn.
From under- and post-grad studies in music performance (vocal), French and secondary education at UQ to a Master of Business Administration (Executive) with the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), UNSW, Lachlan has honed his passion for creativity and business. He nurtures a professional commitment to ensure that creative expression and involvement in Arts and culture are not privileges to be enjoyed by some, but are essentials to the wellbeing and futures for all Australians.
Now working as the Development Manager with The Story Factory, a not-for-profit based in Sydney that teaches creative writing and storytelling to over 8000 children from under-resourced communities, Lachlan supports others to learn and use their learning to make a positive change to the world around them.
The QACI community is proud of the significant contribution Lachlan has made to the communities in which he lives and works, and we extend best wishes for his continued success and wellbeing.
