The familiar African proverb It takes the whole village to raise a child, is the approach we have always taken at Queensland Academies Creative Industries (QACI). It takes a community to ensure a school is equipped to its highest level to deliver the best possible education to a child.
Our community include relationships with parents, P&C, school council and our QACI Alumni Association. QACI holds formalised relationships with a range of tertiary and industry bodies to enable authentic learning experiences and to best prepare our students for life beyond school.
On successful completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, students can take advantage of standing credit arragements at the following South East Queensland Universities.
University of Queensland
Students can gain up to one semester (eight units) of academic credit toward their chosen University degree at the University of Queensland. Following a placement questionnaire, students achieving a 4 or better in the IB Language subjects can begin language studies at a higher level. Griffith University
On the completion of specific IB
Diploma subjects students may receive course credits,
allowing students to fast-track their studies. A full list of subjects and credits and information on how to apply can be found here.
Griffith University also offers students an International Baccalaureate Safety Net.
Griffith University offers International Baccalaureate students bonus entry points and guaranteed entrance schemes.
Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
Students
can receive advanced standing up to the equivalent of a full-time
semester of university study (4 units) towards certain degree programs at QUT.

arrangements have been established and continue to be expanded on.
Students who have completed the IB Diploma can qualify for bonus entry points when applying for undergraduate degrees at QUT.
University of the Sunshine Coast
