United Nations Youth Australia Emerging Leaders Program

​QACI would like to congratulate Vrinda Eswaran, Year 12 for her successful application to join 16 student delegates from across Australia in the United Nations Youth Australia Emerging Leaders Program (ELP).  

The ELP program is an 18 day tour taking place in January 2019 travelling across Japan, South Korea and China. The theme of the tour Shifting Paradigms in the Globalised World will cover a wide variety of areas, from culture, to politics, to economics.  

Students will be looking that the evolution of the East Asian Identity, and how these unique cultures have shaped history both in their own countries, and abroad.  Particular attention will be paid to how the regions trade agreements has affected their nations, for better or for worse.

Vrinda states "this will also, as travel always does, provide refletions for us in Australia, and how we can made our communities and our country a better place."

QACI would like to wish Vrinda all the success with her trip and we look forward to hearing about it when she returns as an official QACI Alumni member.
