Queensland Academies Creative Industries (QACI) welcomes you to PROPEL, part of our Year 12 graduating showcase event Triptych.

Triptych 2018, will showcase our creative Arts subject events for our Year 12 International Baccalaureate students in the subject areas of – Film, Music, Visual Arts and Dance. Year 12 Theatre and Design students previously submitted their creative works for their respective disciplines earlier in the year.

PROPEL will feature our Year 12 graduating students’ diverse creative research over two years of rigorous International Baccalaureate study in Dance.

As a school that has become identifiable in the broader community as an educational institution that expects extremely high levels of work from its students across all disciplines, this event expresses the calibre of their efforts.

Queensland Academies Creative Industries presents PROPEL – a double bill showcasing the Year 12 QACI Dance Ensemble.

PROPEL provides our Year 12 Dance students with the opportunity to share their final works from their composition and performance portfolios to an audience of family and friends. The evening features performances choreographed by Jacob Watton (Independent Artist), Sara Jane Aistrope (Mad Dance House) and Jess Briskie (Mad Dance House) alongside the student’s own choreographic compositions. We hope you are thoroughly entertained, enthralled and challenged by their artistry.

Tickets are strictly limited and bookings are essential. Our Dance students will commence in the QACI Theatre at 6.30pm sharp on Friday 12 October.
